  Respectfully. If I see any generative AI in a videogame even if it's just one asset, well acclaimed or just getting kickstarted, then unfortunately no, they're not getting my time or my money. Solidarity with creatives means maintaining that integrity no matter what. Our work is not a freeforall

    tbh it’s just kind of disheartening to see people who ostensibly have good politics around labour just… use genAI ‘oh but it’s just for X’, ‘i’d pay someone but I can’t really afford it’, ‘it’s just this one time’ and in the end it really comes down to ‘I don’t actually value creative labour’
