- and today I pulled it off with ATC from the pros at PilotEdge. first time I've done a complete instrument flight with ATC but without X-Plane or MSFS shitting the bed. now to practice every day leading up to my checkride
- practicing instrument procedures on a good home simulator setup might not be loggable, but it's great practice and lets you explore unusual scenarios that would be unsafe to train in a real airplane. for example, what happens if the cat jumps in your lap after you pass the final approach fix?

- passed my private glider add-on checkride today! and took one last flight before I have to head home from Glider Paradise aka Williams Soaring. checkride nerves will always be there but Rex is a great examiner and made it a pleasure
