- Computer programmers make alright money. It's a hard over saturated industry now. 20 years ago it was a golden age.

- Thanks David. : }

- Thanks! : } I was impressed with the sound as well. thru out the whole design and building process, I never heard it all together at once. Just single notes. So it was amazing to hear it play chords together. : }

- Elon needs to stop hitting a joint before posting on X. : }
- progress on the bunny game... showing off stuff i've added and also a music track #gamedev #gamemaker
- I love the way that is turning out! : } Keep going!
- Flute Demonstration - Low D Here is a flute I built. Plays down to a low D4 (293Hz) in about the same range as a tenor recorder. Please enjoy! : ] #art #music #workshop #instruments

- Thanks buddy. : }

- That's funny. : } Because when I started learning Violin/Fiddle, I used to walk out into the woods. That way no one would have to endure the noise of a complete beginner. : P

- Those are so pretty. : }
- Harp/Zither Pickup Design Random diagrams from my design journal. Been working on a pickup system for an experimental electric Harp. #journal #music #workshop #electronics #art

- That's awesome! : D Thanks for sharing,

- I can relate. I've had jobs like that which consumed all of my at work and at home time before.

- Hey nothing wrong with working at your own pace. : } As long as things get done within a reasonable time.

- Thank you! : }

- Thanks Sam. : } It's a labor of love. I have two other vacuum tube synths that I am building as well.

- Thanks! : } I would have loved to meet Reggie Workman at least once.

- Yes, it's looks awesome. Like a public art mural. : }
- That graffiti is next level. : } People be only spray painting dicks around here.

- Thanks. : } I play both Flutes and Violins. I'm a big fan of their sound as well.

- Ohhh!!! That's really cool!

- I guess so . : } But statistically we're likely in different time zones.

- That's awesome, sounds like you got a really cool friend. : }
- That's really cool looking. It almost looks like a drunk version of the board game Operation. I assume it makes a much better sound then the red nose buzzer. : }

- It's more like a lever folk harp. : } So you can change the key of it. I'm estimating somewhere between 20 and 30 strings in total. So smaller then the large 47 string concert harp.

- That's what happens when you use old technology to build something new. : }

- Pretty neat trick there. : }

- Thanks! : } It's a labor of love. Very time consuming project. But the end result is be amazing!

- Thanks for the kind words. : }

- I've never measured. Basically as more air is required, you can only play short and shorter notes. So at some point, it no longer becomes effective to increase the diameters. : }
- [Not loaded yet]
- Thanks. : } I like to build weird experimental instruments.
- [Not loaded yet]
- It all comes down to the design of the fipple or embouchure hole. : } It's always a balancing act. Because larger diameters create better tone, but require more air to play.

- That's him! He plays an electro/acoustic harp (Harp with electronic pickups) if I'm not mistaken.

- The sound of a harp can come from a few different things. Like the material of the strings, wood used and dimensions of the sound box. : }

- You know... They got a name for the winners in the world. Well I want a name when I lose. : }

- Awesome, I remember reading about that in one of the design books on discharge lamps. : } I found that having an external ambient light source helps a lot (led, incandescent bulb, another neon). In darkness the ionizing voltage becomes unpredictable. I can see the Kr85 really helping in low light.

- Okay, awesome. : } 14' foot would be a bit long full lenght. You can make a few flutes from that.

- I know Andreas Vollenweider played an "electric" modified harp starting back in the early 1980s. My parents had his albums growing up as a kid. : }
