- Krennic is low-key one of Star Wars’ most terrifying villains, and it’s all in his affect.
- Me watching the episode recap focus a whole lot on a character I had otherwise forgotten about: “Oh, so he’s FUCKED fucked.”

- FWIW AI tech bros are nowhere near as annoying as NFT tech bros were, because there was never anything even remotely approaching a nonlaughable use case for NFTs.

- What if MMO but the database was incredibly slow and expensive, all so the players eating up your bandwidth and server costs can give their money to someone else.
- Tim Walz was right to call them all freaks, both intellectually and politically.

- I actually disagree. My conversations with my conservative mom and my more moderate MIL on the topic of the trans showed that they leaned very much in the camp of ‘none of our business’. But if you don’t answer hateful bigotry with at least a ‘why do you care’, you let it become the default opinion
- I still say strategists forcing them to stop calling Republicans weird was the biggest mistake.
- In retrospect, not only was it stupid politically, but it also meant that trans Americans had to endure a year of being the GOP’s punching bag without anyone doing anything to stop it.
- It was especially hilarious when they tried to apply blockchain / NFTs to game development. "So then you take your gun from Destiny over into Skyr..." <howls of laughter>
- It was one of those ideas that seemed kind of stupid when you first heard it, but when you REALLY dug into it, it became clear it was the most idiotic idea for a game architecture you’ve ever heard.
- Seriously, go back and read some articles from the peak of the monkey jpg hype cycle and you’ll seriously wonder if everyone in Silicon Valley was huffing paint.
