If you want to use Xata for staging/dev, you can set up data copying and anonymization from your existing Postgres to a staging replica on the Xata platform. This is great for companies that deal with sensitive data, yet want instant data branches for development with realistic data.

If you use Xata for your production Postgres, you'll see a nice performance boost at a better price. Up to 80% better value per unit of performance when compared to Amazon Aurora. This is partially due to the distributed storage system that we use, see below.
