- While I wait for feedback on final art for I'M BUSY (there will be at least one more round of art, but hopefully just minor tweaks), I'm ramping up prep for my shift into novel writing! Super excited about this.

- Haven't posted a work update in a while! Here's what I'm mainly working on these days: - Tax docs prep (ugh). Bad experience with a freelance bookkeeper last yr convinced me I *finally* need to learn to do my own bookkeeping. Big learning curve for me. - Final art for I'M BUSY for S&S.
- Because of various behind-the-scenes factors (including my visual issues, recent eye surgery etc), I'm behind in everything but am gradually catching up. Haven't had much time to work on my novel writing, but it will be a priority after I finish my current picture book art project.
- Once I'M BUSY is done, I'm taking a break from picture books to focus on MG novel writing. The "focus" part is important, since I find it frustrating to try squeezing in my novel writing in bits here and there; every time I come back to it, it takes me time to reacquaint myself. Fingers crossed!

- I'm experimenting with using a separate Bluesky acct as a replacement for a creator newsletter. I have tried the latter, but lack the time/energy to maintain a schedule. Also looking for a place where I can collect NON-kidlit art, comics, creative expts, etc.
