- Good news! I’m among the finalists for the Maine Literary Awards—for Downstream Benefits, published by @pangyrus.bsky.social. Congrats to all the other #writers! Read the story: www.pangyrus.com/fiction/down... CW: Depression, attempted suicide. But also ice-skating penguins and a sci-fi robot.
- As my last pinned post (skeet???) garnered a grand total of zero sales I'm trying a different approach. Here's hoping an out of date advert will work (the cover has changed since I did this advert). Gonnie buy my zombie book, eh?
- I’ve been enjoying your book—great stuff! 💯

- Happy Earth Day to everyone except dolphins. (Thanks @pointsincase.com!)
- You know, I'm still not awake today, so I just clicked the link, read the thing, laughed throughout, and only THEN realized you'd written it. 😂 Nicely done!

- Love this idea as a prompt.🙂 I just saw this in the wild: "Before use, make a small area in the dark and use it normally before using it satisfactorily." 😂 (It's leather conditioner.)
- I just spent 15 months writing a 3,700-word story. Is that, uh, normal? 😂 Granted, there were long fallow periods, but damn. Sad part is, I can't tell if it's any good. #AmWriting

- Hi there. Thanks for the follow and the gut punch. 😂 This is an amazing story. I noticed someone recommended Carver. I'll second that. "Cathedral" may be my favorite. A very short story (called, depending on the edition, "Popular Mechanics" or "Little Things") has a gut punch. Check it out!
- Been hard at work making escape room props. This strip of leather's bound for a ye olde medicine chest. #EscapeRooms #Riddlehaven

- Wellbutrin has made a difference for me, and I haven't had any side effects. I sleep just fine as long as I stick to my routine. It did take a little while to start working, and we had to up the dosage once, but since then, it's really helped my depression. I hope it works for you. 🧡
- The dusklight is so friscalating tonight, don't even get me started on that. And the gloaming? So much gloaming. And that writing shed needs to open for business soon.

- What impresses me most about a literary rejection is how visceral, how involuntary, my reaction is. I tell myself how even fine work can be rejected etc., but I still feel it in my belly. The next day, though, that’s totally gone, and I’m nonchalantly posting about it, nbd. So weird. #AmWriting

- It’s really great to see such support. Even from a rando like me! 😁 Seriously, congrats on the acceptance! 🎉

- Hi there. Thank you so much for reading and reaching out! It’s really heartening to hear from another writer that a piece works. It’s very thoughtful of you. So thanks again!

- Looking forward to it! Also, yes, I include food. In fact, I just realized I include quite a bit of it. This one actually centers on food. 😁 midlvlmag.com/will-willoug...

- “You probably need to eat something,” the baker said. “I hope you’ll eat some of my hot rolls. You have to eat and keep going. Eating is a small, good thing in a time like this,” he said. —Raymond Carver, “A Small, Good Thing”

- I created a custom list and added only non-doomy accounts to it. You can also mute certain words or accounts. But the curated list works best for me.
- Just remembered I wrote this Raymond Carvery love story. It’s the only one left on my old Reedsy profile. blog.reedsy.com/short-story/... #WritingCommunity
