It's truly stunning how many people still don't understand why so many decided that "support for genocide" is a deal breaker for a presidential candidate.
For me, it was super clear that we were being played.
They (Bibi, Trump and others) used our sympathies to their own ends while actively prolonging the situation and making it worse.
Voting for Kamala wasn’t voting for genocide. It was voting against the fascists.
"Voting for Trump wasn't voting for economic chaos and concentration camps. It was voting against high taxes." You see how fucking stupid and awful that statement is?
Democrats weren't "being played," they were proudly and openly supporting genocide.
May 6, 2025 20:28You always vote against the fascists. Period.
And you completely got played.
Kamala wouldn’t have let Bibi go on his merry way, like Trump is.
It was a clear and obvious choice.
She literally said that she would, along with appointing a fascist to her cabinet. Your party's support for the genocide of the Palestinians and catering to fascist Republicans cost them the election.
Stop making excuses for your own heinous acts if you want to win over anyone with a conscience.
And you don't get to criticize fascists when you voted to put them in power. Hell, the Harris campaign wouldn't even let Walz call them "weird" because it was too rude.
If you only stand against fascism in polite and nonviolent ways, you're not standing against fascism.
I didn’t vote to put the fascists in power.
If anything, sounds like you did.
"Would I do anything different? Not a thing comes to mind...except I'd appoint a Republican to my cabinet." -Kamala Harris
You voted for genocide and to put fascists into power, and you got genocide and fascists in power. And nothing will change while you refuse to face the reality of your support.
I'm not complicit in the crimes of the Republicans because I've never supported them. Democrats made me complicit in genocide. You have to understand, I hate you and your political party for that, and if Trump brings that violence home against you then I'm having a hard time feeling bad for you.
Such vitriol against the people who would have continued democracy.
So little for the people who are actively dismantling the very backbone of our country, destroying our economy, and forcibly transporting people to other countries without due process.
I don’t like that Biden and Kamala supported Israel in the way they did.
If she had been elected, I would have continued advocating for a change of policy.
There is a much, much smaller chance that such efforts will effect change now, in the face of Trump’s blatant corruption and cronyism.
But do go on, continue being mad at the people who now have very little power to change things.
