- First train of the day, both for me and from Nailsea and Backwell station, the 06:05 to Bristol Temple Meads was showing on time until 06:00 Now it's delayed to 06:21 I think I won't make my connection at Temple Meads with the 06:36 to Leeds Thank you @gwr.com
- Hopefully you booked a through ticket as then you should be fine with any fixed booking connections you miss.
- Once again I had to park my own car at a valet station because the valet didn't know how to drive manual; this doesn't bother me and in fact I find it amusing, but it certainly brings home that I really am from a different age of the world now.

- Proper cars have a manual gearbox, old lady cars are automatic.

- I was a Devonian outlaw for decades apparently. In other news, putting jam on your scone first is a capital offence in 2025 in Devon And bloody right too!

- Dunno, I’ve never been to Devon…hateful place. When I go to Cornwall I usually get the ferry so I don’t have to see those idiotic Kernow-plus-a-bit-of-green made-up fauxDevon flags…
