- It's a little bit weird watching "The Last Temptation of Christ" for the first time when the only thing you've seen Willem Dafoe in was Spider-Man.
- Are extra long shoelaces some kind of trend? The last couple pairs of sneakers I've bought, they've been dragging the floor.
- I had not planned on a De Laurentiis festival, but here I am with 4K discs of Flash Gordon and Dune (1984).
- If you have to program an orchestra transcription for your wind ensemble*, then you are definitely not required to play it faster than any normal orchestra would. *You do not, under any circumstances whatsoever, have to

- If they told me I'd have to wait 3 or 4 weeks to get my EMG test, I'd shrug & say "what are you gonna do." They're scheduling for September. Tomorrow I'm going to see if I get a different answer from the day shift, and if not, check out other options outside my usual hospital conglomerate.
- 20-odd years ago I played in the orchestra for a performance of Handel's Messiah at St. Thomas of Villanova Church on the university's campus. Looking forward my coming bookings on the talk shows to discuss the new Pope.
