- What video game started your #gaming* identity? For me, I'd have to say it was Final Fantasy VII. I'd played plenty of #games before-Sonic, Mario Brothers, Toe Jam & Earl, but I personally wouldn't have considered myself a gamer until 6th grade with FFVII. *This label of #gamer is personal to you.Apr 27, 2025 15:33
- That’s such a great pick, FFVII definitely had that “this is more than just a game” impact for a lot of us, For me, it was The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I got fully pulled into another world. That adventure, the music, the puzzles it felt like I wasn’t just playing, I was living it.
- Yes! Ocarina is a great one too. It's cool because my kid loves it now, too, so we can nerd out with it lol.
- I came to gaming pretty late; for me it was "Life is Strange" which pulled me into the world of realistic narrative games. Currently playing "Bloom and Rage," a teen coming of age/friendship story with a hint of the supernatural. 100% my gaming brand.
- Oooo those both look great! (Had to Google them.)
