- According to the NYT, people making donations to a charity run by the Clintons -- donations used to help poor people -- is corruption. Making a giant gift directly to the president is not.
- This -- though it is delivered with the characteristic haughty NYT condescension -- is just flat wrong. It's revealing, though. The enemy that has taken up residence in their heads is not fascism, not the threatened violence of the state, but "social media," ie, their readers talking back.
- "BP, Exxon & Shell, who have recently noted their exit from renewables, are also withdrawing from core oil & gas production investments too. Over 50% of their operating cashflow is now going to shareholders, not explorers or construction crews."
- Why is the Daddy Party allowed to rant & rave & do impulsive, stupid shit & never, ever be held to account, while the Mommy Party is endlessly scolded & lectured & second-guessed by everyone, even when it is earnestly trying to do the right thing? Gosh. What a puzzler.
