- happy birthday to me I guess Here’s some cool photos I took the last few weeks.
- Getting rick rolled at the Whole Foods is what I get for going to the Whole Foods
- Happy Star Wars Day, the holiday I celebrate more religiously than most religious holidays.
- a temporary promotion is still a promotion and the fact that I was “head and shoulders” above the next candidate isn’t nothing
- have spent some time away from here and honestly will probably need to continue to but here are some recent pictures
- really reassuring when the guys at the oil change place seem to be looking for something inside your engine compartment “found it!” is good to hear but also not great
- went to a ren faire had a great time
- walked into work and may have made enemies by rebutting “let me ask chat gpt” with “why don’t you google?”
- @stevesteverers.whaleoilcandles.com went to main st arts fest and found a booth for you
- i'm just so tired of being treated like a servant and i know that's part of retail but also i'm exhausted
- I would like to thank the person who realized that one could cook noodles in a rice cooker because not having to stand there keeping a pot from boiling over is the one thing that makes me less likely to just not eat dinner.
- finally watching Emma (2020) while finishing my ren faire costume and - y'all! y'all! the costumes! the fact that when she's walking down the hallway the cotton overdress is sheer in the light and you can see her petticoats (plural!) proper freaking layers!
- well, after doing income tax math + apartment research, I can cross two of my favorite states off my list of places I'm applying for jobs

- every day I wake up and check the internet and then immediately have to walk myself back from a metaphorical ledge and boy if that ain't exhausting
- lmao $3300 after deductible i'm going to have to call and cancel
- i mean, i already knew i was never actually going to get to retire but it's nice to have confirmation
- it's 9:52 on a thursday night, time to torture myself by listening to the best i ever sounded on flute (the opera orchestra for the turn of the screw in 2013)
- anyway had nightmares all night and am just now fully convinced that we’re going to hiring/promotion freeze and I am going to ONCE AGAIN get millimeters away from a better life and have it all crash down on me again
- okay i have to close bluesky for the evening or i am going to hyperventilate
- so the thing is: I work in retail. I'm a month away from being able to apply for the promotion that would put me at a real living wage. I am probably going to see a total hiring freeze and stores closing before then.
- [screaming]
- why the historical corset was never the tool of oppression that people think it was and how it became co-opted by modern ideals of thinness
- simply cannot believe that not one drum corps has used urbania by the alan parsons project
