All true. Also true that there’s a conversation about the Greens’ seriousness which this absolutely impacts - as it should. When I was briefly a member the discussion boards were bonkers. Woo pseudo-medicine is something they have to shed.
Are the European Greens like this? I get the sense that the Green parties in the Eurozone are a bit more focused on policy - possibly because they have had to be given that PR means they might have to implement some. The performance of UK Green councilors suggests they could do with a dose of that
I think PR generally makes European Greens a more realistic government prospect and they tend to cut their cloth accordingly to a degree, but the other side of it is the history of environmentalism as being based on the fringe has a long long tail and means a lot of other beliefs clustered around it
