- I have a Johnsonian type as an MP. I’ve generally used 📧 in the past (have occasionally received a paper letter in return) but I will endeavour to follow suit with this too. Not that I’ve seen much point bothering of late, I must confess. I keep 🗳️ to get rid of him but neighbours think otherwise 😣

- I was rushing my 🌶️ under cover when I got hit by edge of a hail shower yesterday! I’d emptied GH of pots while filling up my planters with compost, so 🌶️ 🪴 were all sat outside when it started lobbing it down. Big enough I could pick up bits of hail in my hand. I’ve been rubbing aphids off 🍃 too.

- 🪴 Spent some hours emptying compost bay, filling up pallet planters in Greenhouse with hundreds of litres of compost, then planting out a few of my 🌶️ plants. - 😅 The weather has been berry, berry bountiful in its rays of sunshine this past month! Like >20ºC on a daily basis, for days on end here. It’s dry AF though! 😬

- Oh yeah, I just leave the GH in place and wash it inside and out. That’s a huge job otherwise 🫣 These 🌶️ shown here are in a much smaller, and separate, glass house that has easily removable glass panes that slide back and forth. A much easier but still time consuming job to clean. It needed it tho!

- Have you noticed much dust on 🪟 and 🚙 before the 🌧️ yesterday? I think I’ve found that to be an indicator of sand being flung around the 🌍 in the past. I cleaned some glass structures in the garden recently and they’re looking filthy already 🫤 A lack of rain hasn’t helped, mind you.

- I’m way behind, so I’ve seen several new shows appear - Daryl on his motorbike, maybe something with Michonne? 🤷♂️ I’ll figure out whats up with them all when I’m caught up with what’s sat on my box. According to my DVR these episodes I’m on tonight were recorded in 2020 😂

I’ve heard of “Extremophile” and “Annie Bot” from BookTube, but neither has yet to bubble up onto a wishlist. Don’t think I know the others 🤔

- Yes! I had a big batch of his product, but I’m having to use it sparingly now as I’m running low. Fortunately that Naga flavour is so potent I only use it very lightly, so it goes a long way 😋 Hopefully I’m on for a really good 🌶️ season this year so I’ll have plenty of my own to experiment with 🤞

- I’m a bit concerned about my annual goal, as I’m falling steadily behind 🫣 But mainly I just want to read all of the books even though I simply cannot fit them all in. I’ve got two deadlines which need a bit of careful planning, so I guess they count as a monthly goal.

- 🎧 Hearing how many times @aptshadow.bsky.social has read the book made me consider that a useful factoid to filter books. I also started musing on those in my own collection that I’ve read multiple times. It’s probably not a huge number 🧐

- I’ve also read book two in that series, which I possibly slightly preferred. But I’m not sure if I’ll bother to continue if I’m honest. Fortunately the p/b of book three isn’t out until October here, so I have time to decide.
