Obviously I didn't expect Musk to turn up the disinformation knobs on Grok subtly or competently, but whatever the fuck he's doing to it right now is even funnier than I could have anticipated
It’s clear that Musk wants to use Grok to spread disinformation, but it’s less clear that it’s actually accomplishing much (besides wasting power and polluting communities), at least for now. We need data to track these things.

As far as I can tell, the ‘post analysis’ is only being inserted into a fraction of queries and not in a way that it persists as a prompt. (i.e. replies down thread don’t include that when prompting grok although presumably they have a chance of having one inserted into them anew)
