View full threadPS: Ppl don’t want to be on Medicaid.Ppl do want to work. Why? CA voters approved Prop 35. It taxes health insurance plans to help fund MediCal so that reimbursement ⬆️ so doctors will agree to provide Medicaid patients with care. Trying to find providers, good ones, is hard.
- However, private insurance is no saving grace. Insurance plans suck. Specifically, bullshit formularies. Maybe these jerks could fix that. If the drugs FDA approved it should be covered.
- What I can tell you is that MediCal has been the easiest to deal with when it comes to medications. No bullshit formularies. With that many uninsured ppl, hospitals will demand higher reimbursement from priv insurers. Premiums will increase for everyone else. Good for their investment portfolios.
