Toffee
32-year-old from Sweden who probably talks too much about her favourite TV shows. Self-dx ADHD and possibly autistic. Please show me photos of your pet!
(She/Her)
- People talking to ChatGPT instead of a therapist is the most dystopian shit I’ve ever heard. And to be CLEAR. A lot of the blame for that rests on our fucked up healthcare system but also GAH.

- There are definitely therapists who do that as well. 😬 But that's not an argument in favour of using Chat GPT instead - and I still think those therapists have better judgement than an AI.
- There's CPR robots!? #ThePitt

- I instantly felt very strongly that I don't like Dr. Santos but now I'm feeling protective of her and angry at Dr. Langdon instead. #ThePitt

- I just got a haircut and thought the same thing earlier today!
- I wish I had the right kind of smarts for physics, because it's really freaking interesting.
- RIP Issac Newton (aka the last alchemist), you would have loved watching the physicists get annoyed because they accidentally turned lead into gold theconversation.com/physicists-a...

- As a Swede who has never paid anything for education (aside from buying books and such), this sounds entirely absurd. I'm amazed there even are working class students with a system like that. I know there's scholarships but I have to image they only cover *some* of the costs for *some* people.
- "Who invented this?" Umm... #QI #QuiteInteresting

- Och pratig! 😍
- A pleasure to learn this year, as I do every year, that all of your moms were hot in the 80s.

- She is! :) And the kindest person I know, though back then she was more focused on seeming cool so it might not have been as obvious.

- The question is if they'll have their own genocidal nation (planet) participating. 🤔

- It's not just the US! In Sweden we have socialized healthcare and it's still very hard to get access to ADHD assessment and treatment.
- Does anyone have a recommendation for a good reminder app? I need to be able to set monthly recurring tasks as well as one-off ones. I've been using Any. do and it has all the functions I need, but it simply isn't reminding me of some of my (very important) tasks. #AskADHD
- Oh and another annoying detail I wish to avoid: The icon shows I have notifications if it's the same day as a task, even if it's set for a specific later time that day. That doesn't work for me!
- Hang on, is that a rosebud sled? #Taskmaster 👀
- Sure, you feel old, but my stepmother is turning 31 next week. So.
- (I don't actually call her my stepmother since I was well into my 20s and living on my own when my dad and her met. But it's funnier to describe her that way.)
- Oh that's fun! 🌷 #Deviantart
- It's this one: www.deviantart.com/tmece/art/Dr...
- What movie should I have a solo movie night with? I want to be excited! Without having to see someone sliced in half or heads bashed in, etc.

- Hmmm ljuger betyget på IMDB? Vill gärna att filmen ska vara bra också!
- "The collar. What about it? It’s high. I had it tailored. Everything says something, Syril. What is it that you hear my collar saying? 'Look at me. I don’t believe in myself. I am desperate for approval.'" "The empire has been choking us so slowly we’re starting not to notice..."
- Hey, it's good to use hashtags for TV shows currently on air! Hard to avoid spoilers when the title isn't used in posts.
- The task where they have to get Alex's heartrate to increase would be very boring if it were me instead. Just ask me to walk up some stairs. 150 bpm. End of task. #Taskmaster
- My mum was too young in the 80s for you to thirst after, but she was pretty and cool, yep!
- Oh fuck, my new neighbours are a straight couple. They make the worst neighbours after very young people and paranoid drug addicts without any sense of time*. *based on a specific experience
- The ones under me are very young AND a couple. But they're supposed to be moving out soon, thank fuck.
- Shouldn't it be a public school? The more I learn about the British school system, the less I understand, apparently... #Boarders

- Yes that's what I figured, but this is a posh boarding school and they just referred to it as private.

- Probably not, since those don't contain an addictive substance (and are also very, very boring). But I also don't think 1 cup a day creates much of an addiction. I can tell I had a chemical caffeine addiction when I had 2-3 cups a day, but the 1 doesn't do much.
- Oj, är det biljetter till? Spelar de på någon inomhus-scen då?

- Yeah 😬 Still, always good to know the red flags. I find I can often tell it's AI if I'm already on high alert for potential AI but I don't necessarily notice it when I don't think there's a reason to be suspicious. And they probably count on exactly that.

- Oh that makes sense! I'm also not very familiar with her voice, I suppose if it was someone I knew I might notice it more.
- I both love and hate checking my blood test results online before the doctor calls. I enjoy having the information before me and being able to google what each value means, but it's annoying I'll now have to wait to see what the doctor says about it.
- (In this case I have low levels on several things that indicate anaemia from iron deficiency, but the actual ferritin levels are within normal range.)
