- the amenities at this hotel are so wild btw. other than the typewriter-message in a bottle station, there's a vinyl room. A WHOLE PUBLIC VINYL ROOM. a SNES with Super Mario World, a photo booth, a self service candy bar, and a towel station by the elevator in case you just came back from a run 🥲
- the hotel restaurant is rly fancy so i had to gather up a lot of courage to ask them if they had any ice cream or sorbet at all bc i was having a late night craving,, the loveliest server ever asked them to "put a little love in it" and they put my sorbet scoops on a bed of chocolate crispies 🥺🥺🥺

- hafencity in hamburg is seriously one of the most successful new development designs i've ever seen. i'm not surprised at all that there's a whole website dedicated to the urban planning and its development over the years, i l o v e

- the hotel has typewriters and stamps and bottles and corks so you can put together a message in a bottle 😭 and the typewriter wasn't working so i googled the manual and googled how to respool the ribbon and just... fixed it. and wrote a love letter to my bf 😙🫶🏼☀️
