- Bluesky's userbase tilts pretty far towards liberals (gonna count progs as libs, but apologetically and with all due respec). But to everyone calling this place an outlier / echo chamber let me give you some admittedly unscientific anecdata:

- Makes sense. I'm essentially a policy wonk. I'm closest to being a Democrat with Progressive sympathies--but I would like to see less paternalism from the party.
- The choice to take early retirement was FRAUGHT and I'm still very sad and angry about what is happening to public health in this country, but I also slept until almost 10 AM and enjoyed a bagel while watching the conclave kick off, so
- I mean, there's a lot of room for volunteering in wonderful organizations. Plus, if you have to go back, those gigs make you look active and capable.
