6 weeks ago today, planes flew a few hundred people to El Salvador, where they’re being held at CECOT — a place from which Salvadoran officials brag no one is ever released — at US expense. Their continued detention there is our continued shame.

And a vast majority of them are innocent, even if ALL of them we’re the worst criminals imaginable, they would still deserve due process and not be sent to another country.
