i keep thinking about star trek & how they’re like “we don’t fw pre-warp civilizations” & in the show it’s presented as a sort of noble, non-interference thing, but in reality i think it’d be more like “i’m gonna wait til that toddler who keeps shitting himself takes a shower before i hug him.”
