One of the reasons I love UBI (universal basic income) is because I was built to do so much more than what I’m doing now. If I didn’t have to have a full time job I could be doing so much more for the community and myself, but instead I have to format documents so I can eat.
May 7, 2025 14:25What a mood. I suppose my only skepticism is about willingness at a policy level to offer truly Universal Basic Income, especially on an indefinite basis.
We< would not be processing data and advocating for accommodations for our disability to support our livelihood - we would instead do more advocacy for fellow marginalized humans, but louder and independently. And writing more.
But, then again, that's the point of *not* giving us that, for _them_.
