Using a loom also doesn't use an exorbitant amount of energy for the sake of making a subpar theft of other people's work on a luxury good.

literally no one is calling themselves an artist for using AI and AI doesn't use an "exorbitant amount of energy' either, that's propaganda. It's also not theft, AI isn't reproducing images, it's using qualities and styles of existing art, just like human artists do.

Human artists may find inspiration from other artists but they still make something unique out of their studies, unlike AI. AI just replicates.
