That's what I don't understand about this whole thing! They all including Trump admitted it was "an administrative error" and they all, including the president of El Salvador keep calling him a criminal!
Which is it?
And yes, they are completely ignoring the SC
It’s both. He truly illegally entered the country in 2012. He was arrested in 2019. He was deemed a member of MS-13 by evidence provided by an informant.
His asylum claim was denied and was eligible for deportation….just not back to El Salvador because was worried about rival gang violence
Ah Ok, I didn’t know that.
The guy still deserves due process, Trump knows that and he just doesn’t care, even after the Supreme Court got involved.
I Googled, and there is more to the story. Right wing liars, manipulate by witholding some of the facts. Garcia should be back in the US, just for the fact that SCOTUS ordered him returned. Republicans are Evil.
He is officially and always has been an El Salvadoran citizen.
He never had a citizen status in the US and his asylum claim was denied
Yes he was protected from being deported to El Salvador due to rival gang fears, but he was eligible for deportation elsewhere.
What info do you have?
Where else did he have an order of removal for?
Info here
Hey transphobe, that does not show him eligible for deportation. Eat shit and die.
His asylum claim was denied…that’s part of the process. If your asylum claim is denied and you have been determined to have entered the country illegally, you are eligible for deportation.
This has been known for awhile.
