- Awesome! Thank you for sending it and for playing us. We've a little bit quite cause we finished filming our video for our song Bloodlines. I'll be editing that over the next few weeks as well so it's ready for our June 30th release date.

- That's next on the agenda lol. We finally have a full lineup of talented musicians, so we are working on rehearsing our set list. Goal is to start playing live by fall.

- Our first video we are releasing is for a song called Bloodlines. It's one of our heaviest songs. Still filming and editing it.

- Glad you like it. The new EP has MORE depth cause we were able to synthesize alternative metal with symphonic metal, and melodic death metal better. Follow us on Spotify or YouTube if you want, the release date is June 30th.

- Fair enough. Thank you!

- Gorgeous voice!

- And thank you! It's hard to really show what we sound like with one song, or even 1 EP as a new band. Plus, this new stuff we are working on, we've been leaning into post-rock influences which I think compliment the symphonic side.
- If you want. You can listen to our song lockdown for free for 3 times on band camp. It's off of our new EP (the old one, we're still finding our sound and the mix isn't the greatest) here the hyper link and the band camp link is near the top. distrokid.com/hyperfollow/...

- You know, we will take that. Our EP explores more of our influences (a lot more melodic death on there). Thank you for listening.

- Thank you for promoting us! Our vocalist draws a lot of inspiration from lacuna coil and a perfect circle. If you want to pre-save our EP coming out on June 30th, the link is here! distrokid.com/hyperfollow/...
- Our first music video for our new release will be for a song called "Bloodlines". Very heavy, almost entering full melodic death metal territory, but has some very melodic choruses and a big anthemic bridge part. Can't wait to have this video all edited!

- Thanks! We are also offering pre saves for our latest EP "The Twilight Affliction" on both Spotify and band camp. If you pre-save on band camp, you'll get our song "lockdown" early. distrokid.com/hyperfollow/...

- Ok, so this band is a black metal band, to all of your followers to listen to us for the melodic stuff that we do. Now that that is out of the way. I cannot emphasize how phenomenal their music is. So much depth to the musicianship! Thank you @amandak6647.bsky.social for sharing this with us!

- Music is a journey, and very personal. I'm looking forward to hearing yours continue.
- The Twilight affliction on the other hand, was written by 4 people, recording went very smoothly, we got that thing written and recorded over the course of 5 or 6 months, and the actual recording process only took us 2 and half months because it just went very smoothly compared to previous attempts
- So thank you for checking out more of our music. We are glad you like it, and we are Pleased That soul killer was your first introduction to us! Cheers!
- Requiem was Ben and I writing together for the first time. The demo was just me (chase), and it was even more confused lol. I just knew in general I wanted something that was cinematic, piano heavy, and melodic. The death growls didn't come in until I was forced to "try it"
- Because we had a short-lived member go MIA at the last minute, soni was left with all these parts and nobody to perform them so I decided to take a stab at it alongside the cleans. Our mixing engineer also bailed so I was left to try and "make it happen"... It was just chaos.
- Ok fine ... I don't hate it, and the song writing is solid. It could have been better, there were a lot of extenuating circumstances (and stresses) that resulted in it sounding like this... Plus ... We didn't know if we wanted to go the more hard rock route or metal so the sound is inconsistent.
- The Twilight Affliction though, I think is just, better overall. It follows the same production quality and general vibe of soul killer, cause that's where I think we found our sound/performance ability as a group and as individuals.

- Ok Good! Keep listening to soul killer, don't look back at our history when we were still trying to figure this thing out! 😂😂😂

- Thanks! Requiem, was rushed and mixed by myself... And it was written and performed by only two people... So it's not the best representation of what we sound like now. Our latest one though, it's something we are very proud of. We can't wait for it to drop on June 30th.
- Following. Really really love what's going on here!
- This station has been sharing our music left and right! THANK YOU!

- That is totally valid. Guitars and drums (plus the growls) can be alot for some people. We do have a piano ballad on the new release though. Thanks for your honest feedback!

- I blame modern production practices. I mean new technology has allowed us to make our music like this, which I am very grateful for... But there is an obscene obsession with perfection, and loudness that music just loses its life.
