Serious post: Many of you have noticed an increase in my doctor’s appts. I am not going to share my medical history online, bc that sounds dreadful for everyone. I would like to let you know what’s going on, in broad strokes. I have been having tests done to diagnose and gather info on my heart.1/2

2/2 I began noticing symptoms this winter, fatigue & shortness of breath. I have been diagnosed with severe mitral valve stenosis. This means my mitral valve can’t pump the blood, from my lungs, through my heart, out into my body. I’ll be having my mitral valve replaced in open heart surgery May 21.
