After seeing the nomination of Hegseth - a complete incompetent will be in charge of our military - pass the Senate & Trump’s dictatorial actions in his first week, I’m thinking the sensible thing to do is to start making preliminary plans to leave. Leaving would depend on what happens Nov 2026. 1/3

Americans, 50% of them, knowingly voted for a criminal who tried to upend our democracy Jan 6. If they continue to support him Nov 2026, America is dead. 2/3
I’ll work to try to make sure Americans turn away from autocracy & away from Trumpism Nov 2026. But if they continue to embrace it, I’m out. They will be embracing something that will turn into tryanny. I’m not going to spend the last 10-20 years of my life in a country where there is no freedom.3/3
