Omg how are you actually meant to get enough protein in a day 😵💫 Just had a look at recommended intakes for people doing 3-4 weightlifting seshs a week
I try my best to spread em in smaller meals/snacks through the day
Breakfast yogurt- 20g
Post workout shake- 30g
Lunch chicken n rice- 60g
Protein bar- 20g
Dinner varies but at least- 30g
Before bed shake- 30g
It’s difficult to maintain, so don’t feel pressure to do it all at once just gradual!
Whewee that's a lot! ✨ I did see that spreading it out is good for you (and makes sense intuitively).
I was considering doubling up on shakes on lift days 🤔 but I feel like I'm currently seeing really great gains as it is rn, so I'll see. Bought a bunch of nuts and seeds to snack on too. Thx bro!
