- Celebrated Friday of a long week by making an apricot kuchen with lavender and galangal, with a cinnamon nutmeg cream cheese glaze, and it was exactly what I was envisioning. (No I did not measure anything.)
- Puppernugs has always loved corvids—she seems to see them as kin to play with, and sometimes they oblige—but the way she is sweetly protective of the juvenile ravens that have made our yard a home in recent weeks is still incredibly adorable.
