- Several reasons, I think. 1) Trans men are heavily underrepresented in media compared to Trans women. 2) Trans men are, disgustingly, regarded as WOMEN WHO WERE TRICKED by conservative shit heads rather than DEVIOUS PERVERT MEN like Trans women which is a less aggressive narrative to push.

- 3) Testosterone is a hell of a thing and does WORK so Trans dudes who medically transition often don't look or sound like cis women relatively quickly which makes the whole finger pointing "how could you think THAT IS A WOMAN/MAN" bullshit narrative much harder to push as easily
- also conservative cis men don't see trans men as a threat to their masculinity vs they might be attracted to a trans woman which in their mind would make them queer - ultimately tho best not to try to find logic in bigotry

- I went to CalArts which is in Santa Clarita but I don't count that as LA proper despite being in Los Angeles county lol...if you count those years I've lived in LA the longest of anywhere but I was mostly in a dorm room going nuts lol
- also I lived in Montpelier again after college for a year so I guess its more like 15 years...and then Chicago a year...then back to LA for Clarence in 2013
- mostly montpelier but also marshfield, plainfield, barre, burlington...single mom, moved a lot growing up as she was looking for better opportunities
- but yeah lived in montpelier for kindergarten and then again from 5th grade to sophmore year of high school for me (junior and senior year were in baltimore)

- little story abt my banner...when I was working on Clarence at Cartoon Network they took some photos of me in this hotdog costume. Later on there was some big Turner Conference and the guy onstage used the photo of me with the text "TRY. FAIL. TRY AGAIN." which was very funny to me.
