- So sorry to hear you and your neighbors are going through this. It all underlines that we need a robust government response to disasters and it shouldn’t be conditioned on the political leanings of an area or who lives there.

- Beyond that, it's an absolutely insane security risk on many levels. He's accepting a plane that a foreign nation outfitted for him -- so many opportunities to hide eavesdropping equipment, especially considering how much communications gear is on the plane...
- Also, there are a lot of electronic counter measures built into the existing Air Force 1 planes and they're apparently armored and designed to survive a nuclear blast...

- Also looking at the specifics of HOW districts were gerrymandered. Having fewer competitive seats mutes what could have been wave elections. Looking at the Cook PVIs, it looks like Republicans tried to draw to a R+10 where they could do so, assuming that's a safe threshold.
