- Happy Friday, nerds! If anyone is interested in checking out v8 (hopefully releasing on Monday), you can see it on develop.snipeitapp.com. We had to pull everything forward to stay in supported versions of PHP and Laravel, but we're pretty stoked about some of the UI improvements.
- Ad-hoc notes on assets will either added on Monday or a point release soon after. We normally would have more tentpole features for a major release, but we had to upgrade because PHP 8.1 and Laravel 10 went out of LTS at the beginning of the month.

- FYI, If you end up seeing some blank table lists after upgrading, do the following: - Clear your cookies - In your .env changing `BS_TABLE_STORAGE=cookieStorage` to `BS_TABLE_STORAGE=localStorage`. - Clear your config cache (if you use it): `php artisan config:clear`
- We're rolling out an update shortly to email verification to prevent harassment and trolling from throwaway accounts. New users may need to verify their account email before they can create a post. Thanks for your understanding!
