- i've been trying to reverse engineer Google Find My Device, and it's been, uh, painful :/ since they use both gRPC and Protobuf, seem to be base64-ing protobuf blobs (??) within the json grpc, and I don't have a schema..
- exactly! typescript has genuinely saved so much time for me - if it didn't exist, I probably would've given up web dev altogether
- in a perfect world we would have a language with the type system and package manager of rust, the compile times of go, the package ecosystem of typescript and js/ts hot reloading
