- Secretary Noem appears to not want to say if the picture of Abrego Garcia’s hand is doctored Swalwell: I have a 7 year old, a 6 year old, and 3 year old. I have a bullshit detector. I’m just asking you a question
- An administration of compulsive liars on a scale unlike anything the free world has seen since Nazi Germany.

- It was picked up and amplified by the media but that was mostly about the highly competitive media market and an endless desperation to fill airtime and column inches. Reading Starmer's entire speech it's quite clear that "island of strangers" meant a country divided by differing beliefs.

- Absolute nonsense. It is quite clear when you read the full paragraph that by an "island of strangers" he meant a nation divided its differing beliefs. But of course the hard left doesn't want anyone to believe that because all this is entirely about revenge for Corbyn's defeat.
- Who the fuck just starts shooting into a car because they're in front of your house?
- A far right thug, almost certainly a Trump supporter and someone who's obviously far too dangerous to be on the streets.
- Lead headline on BBC Politics Live: “Prime Minister accused of echoing far right language.” Was/is this the Downing Street comms goal in framing their immigration reform? If so, how is this helpful? If not, how has this happened?

View full threadWhat Keir Starmer actually said as opposed to what the hard left wants you to believe he said: "Nations depend on rules – fair rules. Sometimes they’re written down, often they’re not, but either way, they give shape to our values. They guide us towards our rights, of course, but 1/2
- also our responsibilities, the obligations we owe to one another. Now, in a diverse nation like ours, and I celebrate that, these rules become even more important. Without them, we risk becoming an island of strangers, not a nation that walks forward together." Context is everything.
- It's certainly not the Downing Street comms goal but it absolutely is the unrelenting goal of the hard left who won't rest until they've seen off Keir Starmer. This is about Corbyn's defeat, a self-inflicted wound that they're still trying to blame on everyone else.
- We can't talk about immigration because every time we do the hard left jumps on it, picks it apart, condemns words and phrases it chooses not to like and calls for resignations. For God's sake, we have to have this conversation if we're going to bring this country together and defeat the hard right.
- Trump: "Now there are those that saw we shouldn't be accepting gifts to the Defense Department. And I would say, only a stupid person would say that. Why wouldn't I do that?" (The Constitution prohibits it without congressional approval!)

- Can I add a British voice to that?
- Trump on healthcare: "Now, after studying the industry, it's a very complex industry, but I figured it out."

- Hell, he's yet to figure out how to tell the truth.
