Shiny’s name was originally a play off of Shadow the hedgehog as I was inspired by him to create my first OC. Yes he was a Sonadow ship kid at first, deal with it. Shady was born a year later when someone drew Shiny but emo, and I said “nah that’s not Shiny it’s Shady” and the name stuck.
