People assuming that the government doesn't work is the result of ~50 years of nonstop conservative slander and propaganda with minimal pushback. Big Tech guys coming in and expecting to find massive fraud with no real value seems like a case of projection
Interesting piece which reveals a lot of the tech bro ignorance of government: DOGEr comes in, expects to find lots of inefficiency, is at least willing to acknowledge he was wrong unlike the hard core ideologues.
Dems are guilty of constantly surrendering ground here too. Even many of my liberal friends will say things like "I agree the government is too bloated." I always ask for an example and they never have one.
The federal government should be bigger, if anything.
