- Node.js Worker thread question: If I start my Node.js program with --max-old-space-size=5000 How can I limit my Node.js Worker threads to 1gb instead of 5gb? It seems in this case worker.options.resourceLimits won't work cc @jasnell.me @metcoder.dev any idea?

- I work on a framework, not a single app Node options are expected to be provided by framework users

- Thanks Matteo answered me here and the answer makes sense but for some reason it didn't work. Will need to try on a smaller repro, I'm using Tinypool x.com/sebastienlor...
- Just noticed this is the first time one of my personal posts made it onto the newsletter 🥳 Thanks @sebastienlorber.com!

- 👌 I thought it was the 2nd one, but it seems you are right! I keep your blog in my backlog because I found it more recently, and old articles have not been featured yet, so I might pick an older one in the future in case we have a calm week
- My first, from the ground up, Knip plugin released in v5.56.0. 🎉 Working with @webpro.nl on it was such a great experience. Learned tons about 🦖Docusaurus and ✂️Knip in the process(even if @sebastienlorber.com would have written a better one). Use a tool without a Knip plugin? Try writing one.
- ✂️ Knip v5.56.0 is out → New Docusaurus plugin (h/t @cylewaitfor.it) → Replaced enhanced-resolve w/ oxc-resolver (h/t @boshen.github.io) ⌚ `resolveSync` spends 50-90% less time, total run time down >10% and increases exp. 🚂 Eliminates mem leak w/ yarn PnP (10m LOC project finishes smoothly) 👇
- Thanks, curious to see it in action!
- It was fun to write this one with @tboba.pl 🙌 Thanks Seb for everything 🥰

- Thanks @tboba.pl and @kacperkapusciak.bsky.social for creating this issue This is the second time we collaborate together with @swmansion.com and it's working well!
- Kind of sad this reaction video doesn't address the advantages RSC have over Astro mentioned in the blog post www.youtube.com/watch?v=elfQ...
- "if you need to use another system to explain your new system, then your system is too complicated" is such a flawed argument man
- Exactly, so weird.
- I have different takeaways: maybe the React maintainers haven't done a good job at "dumbing down"/ELI5 RSC in the first place. If people need to rely on a comparison to understand RSC, then maybe there's something to improve at the source.
- We do analogies all the time because we rarely invest anything entirely new Calling any analogy a red flag looks weird to me. You can invent new things that have similarities with existing things.
- Also didn't understand that Dan is planning to compare RSC not just to Astro, but to many other things as well bsky.app/profile/dana...
