I can’t see how we’ll ever be a grown up country if can’t acknowledge that migration has essential and beneficial impacts. The question is not whether there should be controls but if your starting point is immigration is harmful and integration impossible that will determine the controls you choose

Yes, migration has essential & beneficial impacts for us here but does it have those same beneficial impacts for the lowly paid migrant, used by unscrupulous employers to enrich themselves?🤔
