- Personally, I have no rules about such things, but I agree 100% that ALT Text is important, in part because blindness runs in my family. Also, ALT text offers fun creative opportunities—and it blows the character limit to smithereens if that's something you wanna play with.
- So here is a new rule I am going to implement, which is that if you reply to one of my comments (particularly one touching on social issues/politics) with a meme/image with text, and you don't also offer alt text describing the contents of the image, I'll hide your comment. Alt text matters, y'all.
