- Reposted by Savannah BaileyToday, we’re announcing the preview release of ty, an extremely fast type checker and language server for Python, written in Rust. In early testing, it's 10x, 50x, even 100x faster than existing type checkers. (We've seen >600x speed-ups over Mypy in some real-world projects.)
- Hugs to my Microsoft friends today ❤️. If anyone I know sees something solid at Snowflake and wants a referral/needs someone to look over a resume/wants someone to hype them up, ping me. Happy to help!
- The details of the best day ever 💕
- Oh, a #PyConUS feed! 💕 If you’re attending this week, please come find me or ping me on Bluesky and we can coordinate! I would really love to meet you and I swear I’m pretty friendly!!

- Pro tip: if your wedding cake is 3 feet long by 1.5 feet wide and you have a small wedding, you can take home a hilarious amount of cake and defrost a piece from the freezer at any time. Past me had a vision and the vision was good.
- On one hand I’m annoyed that I’m sick right now but on the other hand I’m just happy it’s this week and not next week.
- It all started with "Hey Jake, can you tell me about the language server protocol?"
