Quick reminder: For the People Act (H.R. 1) was passed by House Dems in 2021. It contained provisions banning stock trading by members of Congress.
Senate version, S.3494 (Ban Congressional Stock Trading Act), also focused on stock trading by lawmakers. It was introduced on 1/12/2022, but didn’t advance due to lack of bipartisan support.

Burdening people with more red tape/reporting requirements in order to keep their healthcare, hoping most will give up when faced with more obstacles is cruel, cynical, and economically stupid. Healthy workers are more productive workers.
My ex-husband owned a small company. Every year, free flu shots were offered to all employees AND their spouses. It was cheaper to keep staff healthy & working through flu season than pay for sick days, find coverage for employees out sick, deal with work delays & unhappy clients.
