- I'm getting a bit back into videogames. Any suggestions for the best ways to interact with Steam on a decent-but-not-smart TV? My PC is OK but there's something about sitting on the couch with a remote...

- Yep, I can imagine investing in a smart TV at some point in the not-too-distant-future but this (alone) seems like too thin of a rationale still.
- Roku doesn't require a smart TV. If you get the little Roku box it will use wifi to mirror from your PC. Should look better than the cable I would think. You'd have to get a Roku box, but I don't think they cost too much and you should be able to use apps on it free without paying for Roku TV.
- Ah, interesting. I'll see if our Roku Express can handle that, though I think of it as pretty minimally functional. Though I could see replacing that before replacing the TV.
- Good luck! Im going to check mine for the Steam Link app because are right about the couch lol
- If you're curious: I can indeed mirror to through the Express! But there's sometimes (usually?) a lag that I would need to debug (which I'll probably try since it's the summer). Thanks!
- Awesome!
