I wish artists a very: Stop saying your work looks awful. Each piece is a unique expression of your skills that you worked hard at and the quality is subjective. Love it for what it is, not hate it for what it could be. Find joy in the process, make peace with the result. You are awesome.

I kid, though. I talk a lot of shit about my drawing/illustration stuff because that's not the kind of art I do. My art is photography and my work is... product photography. And print design. I actually am amused that I'm using art tools and skills to not make art, professionally.
I mean hey, photography is art ;) Whether it's for work or pleasure, art is art.
