- I had a weird dream last night, where I was invited to a party at a large casino. When I arrived I found out that it was an all-night lifestyle party, which was problematic since I had not come prepared. I spent the night running around the whole of the casino, bumbling into parties, confused.
- Although I have lots of ideas for book projects, and several in (slow) work, I am quite prepared to not publish them if the values of the marketplace are such that AI content (yes, it is content) is more popular than people-written works.

- Reposted by Rupert RamsgateWonderful to see a bunch of people who earn a minimum of £93,904 a year and who are supposed to represent their constituent's interests refusing to enforce the legal rights of UK writers, who on average earn £7000 a year from their writing work. Real heartening stuff
- Reposted by Rupert RamsgateDefinitely up there on the writer bucket list. I have officially held my first completed trilogy in my hands. This represents 15 years of work writing, and 20+ years of loving King Arthur stories. Thank you to @solarisbooks.bsky.social and my amazing readers. This truly is magic. #booksky

- Reposted by Rupert RamsgateI don't 'refuse to use' AI, I just don't use AI; in the same way that I don't shoplift, or plagiarise other people's books - it requires no effort of will, it's just not something I would think of doing
- Bizarrely framed article about the people (all women) who ‘refuse to use AI’. And a #philosophy professor who says “The moment to opt out of #AI has already passed”. Oh well. That’s that then. 🤷♂️ #AIEthics www.bbc.com/news/article...
