I just woke up from a nightmare where I was giving a guest lecture to an undergrad cell biology class and none of them knew the central dogma or what DNA or RNA were. I spent an hour teaching that instead. They didn’t understand why they needed to know about DNA for cell biology. 🫠😫😱

Adding fuel to the nightmare- there was no microphone so they couldn’t all hear me and no whiteboards in the room that the entire class could see so I had to keep running around and drawing the same thing on different boards. The students started leaving! 😂
