- Not pleased the Powell strawman is taking so much attention when the basic premise that immigration is bad for the economy is just empirically wrong. The decision to cut immigration will make a lot of the problems Labour endeavoured to solve during the election materially worse. Bad governance
- Correct. The claim that Starmer was “echoing” Powell only makes sense if you decouple the words from their meaning and message, which in Powell’s case was predicting mass racial violence.
