Rep. Angie Craig
Mom of four boys, Mimi to three grandsons, wife to Cheryl & U.S. Representative for Minnesota’s 2nd District. Your voice matters and it’s an honor to serve you.
- Republicans are attempting to enact the largest cut to an anti-hunger program in American history. The best part: they can’t even bother to show up and defend it.
- A woman’s private health care decisions should be made between her and her doctor – not the federal government. It's Women’s Health Week—and we can’t back down from the fight to protect our reproductive rights.
- The Republican-proposed SNAP cut would be the largest rollback of an anti-hunger program in our nation’s history. It will take food off the table for families and single moms, force rural grocery stores to close and make our farmers poorer. It’s a hard no from me.
- Republicans are heading into this week hell-bent on cutting funding for programs like SNAP and Medicaid to fund tax cuts for the wealthy and large corporations – but I won’t go down without a fight.
- My wife Cheryl and I couldn’t be prouder of our four sons, and being their moms has been the greatest blessing of our lives. To all the moms in Minnesota—Happy Mother’s Day!
- Thanks to the bipartisan infrastructure law, the Le Sueur Municipal Airport was just awarded $426,000 to construct a new hangar for aircraft storage and maintenance. Projects like this one—that create jobs, boost the local economy and make travel safer—are why I supported the BIL.
