- Splash Star is interesting to me because on the one hand I feel that Saki and Mai are not nearly on the same level of Good Leads as Nagisa and Honoka, but it was also an improvement in a lot of ways (villains were more fun, more thematically sound, the Kiryuus, great ending)... an overall solid show
