- On Friday @number10cat.bsky.social was out fresh after a nap...to nap outside. One presenter needed a pic whilst some other visitors just shot around him (outrageous I know). he was rather bemused lying there. before anyone asks his fur will be brushed when he's back in (have made sure of that)

- Anyway, this argument is over. He's well loved inside Downing Street, well cared for and has regular vet checks.

- The care industry will be destroyed. We currently use minimal care help for mum, just once a week. But we have to pay privately and they don't have anywhere near enough staff to cope.

View full threadI think it's ignorance. I have nothing wrong with me that is a red flag for the drug. The only thing I thought was about the new diagnosis of heart failure (with preserved ejection fraction - which is like entry level). But the .../
- cardiologist who diagnosed me with it said I could take the new drug and weight loss drugs together. And subsequent reading about it shows that it can help heart failure patients.

- I know I can. But at the moment I'm paying for thyroid medication that the NHS won't let me have. That's really expensive too. I also don't understand why he said he wouldn't even do it privately for me. I see a private endocrinologist. He wants me to try it.

- Don't call me "babes". That isn't matted fur, it's clumps of fur that are ready to come out in one piece. I have had cats live for 20 & 22 years. Both of them had this fur behaviour in later years. If you groom them they just fall out, but leave the cat with bare patches.

- And if you do that with a hypothyroid state you will be lucky to make it alive to the end of 8 weeks. The NHS advocates the 800 diet. It's crazy. It's starvation.
